Last Chance to Qualify for the $7 Million Venom at Americas Cardroom

San Jose, Costa Rica – July 30, 2020 – The window is closing on the $7 Million Venom, and poker players who want a piece of the $8 million projected prize pool are wise to listen up. There are two Day 1 options left on the schedule and players are earning the $2,650 buy-in through Venom Fever satellites going on now through Sunday.

From Thursday, July 30th through Sunday, August 2nd, Americas Cardroom is guaranteeing 145 Venom tickets through various Venom Fever satellites. There are 5-8 satellites per day, each guaranteeing 1-20 tickets to the $7 Million guaranteed tournament.
Players who win a ticket can choose from Day 1C on Friday, July 31st and Day 1D on Sunday, August 2nd. Both have 1pm ET start times. Those who make it through either day will join the successful Day 1A and Day 1B players on Day 2 on Monday, August 3rd at 1pm ET.
The field narrows again on Day 2, leading to Day 3 on Tuesday, August 4th at 1pm ET. The final table gets underway at 5pm ET on Wednesday, August 5th.
Venom Fever satellites aren’t the only way in. Players can also choose from Cyclones (start at 11 cents) and move up through 9 levels to secure a Venom ticket. Players will also find Step Tournaments and Spin to Get IN games, both leading to the Venom.
This is the third Venom all-time. Last summer, Americas Cardroom held its first $5 Million Venom, which had a final prize pool of $6,382,500. Just four months later, they held the $6 Million Venom to the tune of a $6,740,000 prize pool. With Day 1A and Day 1B now in the books, this current Venom is on pace to set a new record with over $8 million in prize money.
